CERD is piloting a scheme to let applicants have access to Blackboard once they’ve been offered a place.

The idea is to build a relationship with them so that more of them will accept our offer.
They’ll be given

• access to study aids,
• introductions to the university,
• and online support from staff through discussion forums.

They’ll also connect with current students.

The pilot is being run with Social Work in Hull and Lincoln and Food Technology at Holbeach.
There’ll be an evaluation in October, after which other departments might join in.
